This “Declaration on Data Handling and Data Protection” applies to your participation and the use of all our websites. Our websites contain links to websites in other countries that refer to our cooperating partners or products. For these websites intentionally linked to, this “Declaration on Data Handling and Data Protection” also applies. To all other websites this declaration does not apply.


Personal data

Personal data concerns information about the personal and factual circumstances of a specific or identifiable natural individual. In this sense, for example, your name, your address, your bank account, passport or phone numbers, your e-Mail address or IP number are deemed to be personal data.

With regard to our free sebamed quarterly newsletter as mentioned on our Contact Form you further agree that your contact details are automatically added to our company’s mailing list. After sending your details, you will receive an e-Mail with a link for you to click on so that you can confirm your details. Your details will only be added to the mailing list once you have confirmed your subscription. This double opt-in procedure shall protect you and ensure that your contact details won’t be misused and will give you the chance to unsubscribe from this newsletter at any time.


Automatic gathering, processing and use of personal data

Each time you visit or any other of our websites we automatically gather information about which IP number is assigned to your computers, which browser and which operating system you use, and which websites you have viewed. This data is stored in log files on the Web server. Of this data, only the IP number comprises personal data. To prevent misuse of our computer systems it is necessary to store the IP number of each visitor for a temporary period. If in addition we refer to the log files in order to generate usage profiles, whether for the purposes of advertising, market research, or to design our websites according to requirement, the IP numbers are rendered anonymously in advance. The information generated about your use of the initial website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored on servers in Germany. This information will be used for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activities for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. We may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on our web analytics services behalf. Your IP-address will not be associated with any other data held by us or our web analytics service. Use of personal data for advertising purposes or for market research

Use of cookies
